The album is public, so you don't have to be on facebook to see it. I think it is the first picture in the album.

Last Christmas I had a bad asthma flare that improved greatly after I threw out my real Christmas tree. I am in an apartment and don't have much room to store an artificial tree. I found this pattern is from ericas.com. I sewed on a lot of green buttons -- many more than the number of ornaments -- so that I have lots of flexibility for arranging things. All the ornaments are some I used on the real tree in past years.

It looks beautiful. I would be proud to hang it on my wall. Well done you. Hugs Shirley

That's really lovely Julia. After you told us you were going to make a fabric Christmas tree, I thought it was a wonderful idea (as I have two cats!!) and I designed one for myself. Mine is Christmas tree shaped, made with as many dark green fabrics I had that were suitable. It is made with 'numerous' right-angled triangles 2" base and 3" vertical. I haven't quite completed it, but I'll get a photo up somewhere when I have. The rate I am going it will be ready in good time for next year >g< (No, I only have the edges to finish!) I plan to hang it from the centre of my longest curtain track (hopefully out of reach of marauding paws).

Thanks very much for giv> My Christmas tree this year is quilted. There is a photo in my facebook
