I am going to point out here that those tiny steel hooks are worth their weight and more when sewing. They are brilliant for weaving in ends, pulling threads through multiple layers of fabric, and winkling thread ends out of tight spots. You can use them to slip through a seam to grab a bit of decorative stuff, or pull through a beading thread. And they are _the_ tool for getting that darned bit of fluff or snippet of thread you have been chasing around the bobbin case with every other tool you own. I use one to get that miserable bit of paper out too. The bit that got accidently sewn in after you decided to paper piece the one complicated subunit on an easy block? Where you overshot your seam, and while it doesn't affect the look on the right side, now you have a little pocket with a hanging chad, and it won't come out?

Yes...just saw yesterday that yu can use it to put a bead on yarn while knitting and not have to feed a pile of beads onto the yarn beforehand...

Oh yes, do explain! I thought for sure the beads had to be strung before knitting.
