Directory form now open!

Mary, I will do a bunch at a time. I actually get all the entries (and saw yours) and see more than LN had in past Directories. I wanted to get a good list before I started confirming email addresses.

I have a question and an announcement of sorts.

Since I am on Mac, each time I have received the directory, Alice has had to send me a different format. SOoooo, where it asks you to select the format you want, I just left it on "Spreadsheet" but I'm not sure that is what I should have done?

Second, I have listed our NEW address in the upcoming directory. Since the directory form doesn't close until September 15, I should be safe but just want anyone to know, we don't actually close on the house until September 8! Which means I won't actually live and receive mail there until sometime shortly thereafter.

Tina, I'm on a Mac, too; there's no problem with receiving and using the spreadsheet format, as long as you have an application that will read the Excel format. :) I've been getting the directory ever since it started, and I've never had any problems with it .

wooohooooo, tis about time i got 'something' right. i knew if i kept trying i'd get there. my b/d will be while i'm in USA doing the visits here there everywhere anywhere. hmmmm, Virginia, eh. i'm flying into Calif for only one day, i hope. last week in sept. then on to Detroit, getting picked up to drive up to london for a day, then back to do a day at the Novi Expo(last weekend in sept), then back to Columbus. from there i'm open to suggestions. at this point looks like driving to Paulettes in Shenandoah Junction, WbgV, lol. hey she says it that way, i'm not gonna argue with her, nope i'm not that silly. i really want to make it to the Houston show too. if Ms B is all orgynized by then they too might be in Houston for the show. all this is assuming i get it all sorted out for times for lawyer and taxguy in Calif and find a flight into Detroit that evening. overnight flight puts me in there early so we'll have a full day to do whatever. gotta find email for that lawyer and taxguy, luckily they are in the same building, could speed up the process and i'll have time to stop in at the Bolts End to check their specials. its the only LQS round there i'm sure has good fabs and good specials. ok, i'm rambling again, sorry. will try it advise closer to the time and while enroute. argh, the thought of all this yet again is exhausting my poor old brain. oh well. :) oh yea, i forgot to mention, my birthday will be while on the road round usa, woooohooooo. must check for birthday discounts on the day, eh. what a birthday month this will be. wooooohooooooo!!!! hugz, jeanne

some isps see multiple addys on an email and assume its spam, deleting it before it ever gets to the recipient. we all need to be aware of that and let alice know if you 'dont' get her email 'after' she posts that all have been sent out already. but only if you 'DONT' get her email. cheers, jeanne

i'm on a regular PC and no idea how i'll read the spreadsheet but i opted for that cuz i wanna be able to sort them by different columns. i'll see when it arrives i guess, lol. jeanne

Okay, Jeanne -- no fair teasing us this way! What are the chances of your getting to Houston??? You have to keep us posted about this! What fun it would be to meet up there with you -- it should be a good-sized group this year. Gosh, how exciting! :D

I have to tell you that I have been reading all the info coming in, especially the birthdays. I saw someone with the same as my mom (3/20) and some that just passed and wished you all a happy day. I saw some coming up too. I like that everyone put in their month and day so far. We had some folks pass on the birthday entries last time, which was ok too, it is optional. Maybe since we only asked for month and day this time, it made a difference. Looks like it was a good move!

Count as of today: 159 but of course that counts the multiple personalities as well! From a personal perspective, I'm glad the "multiples" all live at the same place and have only one birthday!
