Wow, that's beautiful. I would have bet that I wouldn't like a dresden plate quilt...but I would have lost that bet upon seeing yours. Very nice.
WOW! Really pretty! I attempted - once - to make a "Grandma's Fan" set of placemats... HA! What a laugh. I like Dresden Plate too.... but..... not something I would attempt in the near future. You've done a great job.

hmmmmm, how far apart does it need doing? not that it matters to me cuz i think i'd STID on the lines in the plates. round the circle centre too. then maybe echo a couple rows round the points. hmmmm, or extend the lines out to the edges of the background square. for the sashing i've no good ideas, nothing comes to mind just now. just had another thot. could crosshatch in the circle and outside the plate to match. still STID the blades of the plate itself. hmmm. jeanne
Hmmm...I've never done a Dresden Plate, but perhaps some partial plates in the corners of the blocks? Lines radiating out from the seams and/or points of the plate sections to the sashing? Not very imaginative, am I? :S
