Early Morning Happy Dance

I just told DH that when "finish quilt" is first thing on my do list, it's nice to get it scratched off by 6:30 AM! (Of course, I've been up since

3:15, but who's counting?!) I've been working on this pink/cream/purple/green sawtooth star bugger off and on for 2 years--mostly off, but still! It shows me again that it's worth accepting what material tells me to do. I was adamantly opposed to adding some colors until it gave me no choice. (Y'all told me to listen to it, too. You were of course right.) The final result is one of the prettiest quilts I've ever made. After two years of not being too fond of it, this is some relief! No pix--sorry. Maybe some day...School starts for new teachers in about a week so I can now sew some school clothes (all cotton of course ;-)) with a clean conscience!

Okay, it's time to walk a dog before central Texas heats up. Thanks for helping me finish it!

That's wonderful! Will be seeing pics? Would love to see it. I'm trying to get my WIP list down. So much to do. Perhaps I need to get up as early as you do! LOL ;o)
