envelopes

For those using them, where do you find clear envelopes for mailing embellished postcards? I found one source on the web, but you have to buy in batches of 100. I won't live long enough to use that many!

I don't put regular flat ones in an envelope, but the crazy quilt ones probably would need to be, due to embellishments. Using an envelope if you add lots of "stuff" would be better, then the embellishments won't get lost in the mail. Gen

I don't remember how many or the price, but I use them to store the postcards I received in our postcard swap as well as mailing. I like them very much- nice quality- but I had to buy them a tad large as they don't have the exact size of 4X6 in.

|BAGS2 Google is your friend. Use 'clear envelope' or 'translucent envelope' in the search. Staples and Office Depot carry them in their stores around here too, might be worth a phone call if you have those close by.

I don't use envelopes - and all of mine have arrived safely.

I have also received some with buttons and beads on them without an envelope, but I must say, if I ever send one with what I consider too much "sticky out" things on it, I would use an envelope.

Gen, If you have a "Paper Zone" near you, they sell vellum envelopes, in all sizes and colors, individually.
