fabric in Korea?

I'm going to a conference in Seoul at the end of the month. Any tips for fabric shopping? My anti-jet lag plan is to spend the rest of the arrival day buying silk and anything else that looks good -should keep me awake until dinner time!

I lived in Korea in 2005. I didn't search hard, but I never saw fabric available for purchase, but I'm sure there must be if you go to the right places.

Some of the best places for shopping are the arcades in the underground stations, my main crafty purchases were beads and silk ribbon embroidery kits.

It's right in the middle of the Korean strawberry season just now, I really need to research more how they grow them, as it's got to be fairly artificial and the strawberries are enormous, but they are gorgeous, I have never tasted better before or since.

Cheers Anne

they grow strawberrys in winter in Korea? glass houses? cant they do that in usa in glass houses too. i'd think Korea is the same season as it is in usa, spring thru summer for outside grown berrys. last time i checked, Feb is still in winter up there. summer here and we've just finished strawberry season. oh well, i've never been to Korea so what do i know, maybe they changed their seasons. j.
