Another lousy cell phone photo. The colors didn't come through. The beige-looking patches are gold batik, then there is a dark blue floral on a slightly lighter blue, and then black-background floral patches.

My goal is to do a couple of bed-sized tops that can be pieced quickly so I can practice my machine-quilting skills. This St. Louis block fit the bill perfectly; I pieced it very quickly and I'm pleased with the results. I'm thinking of doing a Baptist Fan quilting pattern around the borders or over the whole quilt.I have bought a disposable camera and will get around to taking some better photos of a bunch of my work soon and digitizing them, if you'll please be patient :-)
