FInished minor project

You're too kind, Jeanne! :) Okay, maybe I'll add a sleeve and find a little spot for it. Poor little Bisou will have to make do with a wonky braided quilt I made a few years ago.

Honestly, Kathy, it's only just now occurred to me what you meant! So thanks again! I did slow down a lot for that restitching.

Yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss! Your control and design are just perfect! Good for Sue! We have to learn to use the tools we have available. You did a great job with your tools!

Thanks, Kathyl. I like Sue's attitude -- too many teachers have a prejudice against anything that will make the job easier.

OMG! I wish I could do that. It is just beautiful. I'd love to find a class on machine quilting, there is just nothing of the sort around here. I haven't had the nerve to graduate from the "Groovy Boards" (totally idiot-proof machine quilting). We need to just put a sheet-sandwich on the Handiquilter and practice. Are your feathers done freehand? Amazing.

Happy Dancing for your very lovely quilt, Sandy. It was fun to see the Ramada Girls Quilt again, too. Pat in Virginia

Thanks, Pat! :D Ah, the Ramada Gals quilt! I giggle over the memories from that one regularly. ;)

Thanks, Sherry! :) I've been very lucky in getting classes since moving here a few years ago. :) I've done freehand feathers (see for an example), but these were drawn onto the quilt top before quilting. I like to be able to do both styles, since options are always a good thing.
