Finishes

I've finished three projects in the past week! Of course, one of those has been ongoing for months and months. ;) That one is a basket quilt that is the result of a couple of swaps in my local group and which I designed with the help of EQ7 -- not that the design is terribly original. ;) Still, it was an easy way to play with colors and figure yardage for the non-swapped portions.

The other two were quickies. One was a journal cover that was made at my LQS (Quiltique in Henderson) as a promotion to preview a new line of Berninas -- very nice machines, but none of the three are coming home with me. ;)

The last project is a Christmas stocking that has been requested for several years now. DSIL is the only one in his immediate family who didn't have a "special" Christmas stocking; I'd made one for DD#1 (his DW, of course) when she was little, and each of their three children has a stocking from me, too. The reason I took so long to get around to making his is that he had specific ideas about how it was to look, and I kept reminding him to draw something out for me to work from, but he kept forgetting -- until a few days before Christmas each year. LOL! I finally pinned him down last month, so now his is ready for this year.

Want to see what I've been up to? It's all on my blog, the URL for which is below my signature. :)
