flannel S.E.X. at WalMart

I've had a couple of WalMart gift cards for over a month now, and just never could figure out what I wanted and never felt like going in to look around. This week I started thinking I would see if they have any baby flannels just for fun stuff. Finally on Friday I felt like I could handle a little shopping, so I went in there after my treatment. BINGO! They had just that morning put all their spring and baby flannels on sale for $2/yd. Yeehaw! I bought 3 yds. each of 13 different prints. A whopping 39 yds. of flannel in one fell swoop. I had to take it out in a shopping cart because it was too heavy to carry. LOL

Karen, I'm so glad you felt well enough to consider shopping, let alone buying such an enormous amount of flannel!

Lucky you. I was at WalMart today but didn't look at the fabric this time.

Around here the Walmart stores eliminated fabric departments last year. I thought that was a corporate decision for all the stores. Maybe it is a regional thing instead. Have fun with your find, Karen! PAT

After reading the original thread, I took off to Wal Mart in Mt. Dora to buy up some good flannel. Well, it was still the original price, so I didn't get any. Oh well, maybe later. Barbara in Florida

At one of our local Wal-Marts, a clerk told me that in the bigger cities, they are taking out the fabric departments but in the smaller country type areas, they are being left alone. So far, that holds true around here.

Go figure.....
