Was it a full size quilt, or a small quilt? Somewhere I have a pattern for a small butterly wallhanging. I don't remember what magazine I got it from, but I have had it for a long time. Let me know if you would be interested, and I will look for it, and mail it to you.

There are lots of butterfly patterns on line that might be similar to the one you want. What type pattern is it? Applique, pie, etc.

The pattern I was looking for was done with a template that looks like the dresden plate as its wings and using reproduction fabrics.
