Fons and Porter Show Today 02/06/10

Does anybody know the name of the quilt done on Fons and Porter today? I didn't see how they cut out the pieces. The pieces were cut in twos and sewn together but they were oddly shaped. Almost looked like someone had too much to drink when they were stitched up but the quilt was so cute! I think they said it was a baby quilt but it was patchwork looking.

Thanks.

Helen

I just checked my DVR- the Fons & Porter recorded today was about long arm quilting with pantographs. So, sorry but I can't help you. Have you checked their website?

Leslie & The Furbabies in MO.

Helen, was it the one where they used the geisha fabric in the center (and the sample quilt they showed at the beginning used a zebra panel)? If so, I'll check my recording and see what info I can get for you.

I live outside of Nashvile so maybe our PBS had a different show No, it was a very colorful quilt (baby quilt) I believe that looked like patchwork but there were two uneven pieces sewn together (sort of looked like cones) but came out to be square. I checked their website and have seen this quilt somewhere on the internet (know how that is!) but I will find it one day. It was unusual and very pretty.

Thanks.

Helen

I might have found it! Check this and see if it's the one (or close to it!):
