Quest for Siamese Cat material

If it was me I'd do a more abstract version: find some shaded brown and cream fabrics and make a fairly conventional block design with triangular and rectangular bits coloured like Siamese ears and paws.

So, where'd you get graded browns resembling Siamese cat fur, you ask? No idea.

You are all quite correct - I was thinking of the Siamese cat during the jazz scene in Aristocats when they sing "Everybody wants to be a cat"

When we visited the mouse several years ago, my DH and DD came off the small world ride exclaiming it would be 'better if they handed you tennis balls' when you boarded. I am often oblivious to the obvious, so I just had to ask why.

I have to wonder about the wisdom of cutting up realistic kitty fabric for a quilt.

Reminds me too much of the quilt made with kitties on a pink background...after the pieces were cut up and sewn back together, the quilt got the name "Kitty in a Blender" !!! (It was one of the quilts in the Worst Quilt in the World about a dozen years ago.)

Sorry it took me a few days to get back here. I will look at the web sites you all provided and figure out what I want to do. I'm sure Fred & Barney will like whatever I make them. My friend recently lost her very old Siamese and has now adopted 2 little bitty Siamese brothers. I haven't met them yet, but they sure sound cute.
