I don't even dare go there, Leslie. The embroidery machine + software has staggered the budget. Clotilde is a favorite place of mine and I thank you for the heads up. Polly

Clotilde is a favorite place of mine too. Even though I don't make garments. They seem to have the coolest notions and tools and such that I have never seen anywhere else. I've downloaded a couple of their patterns ($8). I usually go for the free ones, but these were well worth it and I got a nice color pattern. But while the pattern was very concise and instructions were complete, it was an English teacher's nightmare. It was *full* of grammatical and spelling errors. Really bad spelling errors. I was just mildly surprised that someone went to all the trouble to design a lovely pattern, calculate yardage, create complete instructions, and market their pattern, without making sure it was proofread before being put up for download.
