Garden Twist Finished!!

Apr 16, 2009 26 Replies

I got the Garden Twist quilt finished just in time for my DS and DDIL's 20th Anniversary. Photos are on Page 2 of Quilts on Webshots. (Can't figure out how to move them to front of album)

Very pretty. I'm sure it will be treasured for years to come.

Did that drive you crazy? I'm thinking getting every one of those blocks turned the right way would have simply shoved me right over the edge. Polly

I think that is lovely Donna. They will be thrilled I'm sure.

That's lovely, Donna. Such a great pattern for a pretty fabric. . In message , Donna in NE La. writes

OOOOO -- What a beauty -- that's sooooooo pretty!! I have that pattern and want to do it up in lilacs -- someday -- LOLOL! Here's how I rearranged stuff last time I worked on my albums -- been several months so it might have changed. Go to webshots, open up your quilt album and over on the right hand side there is a box with a bunch of options. One of those says something like Arrange or Rearrange

-- you'll know it when you see it. Click on that and it brings up thumbnails of all the photos in the album in rows and columns in the order they are currently in. You can click and drag each individual photo to the place you want it. When you are finished moving stuff around, be sure to click on the SAVE button. CiaoMeow >^;;^<

Just about, Polly!! Luckily driving me crazy would be a real short trip. LOL

Thanks, Tia Mary. I'll see if I can figure out the rearranging.

Really pretty, Donna! DS and DDIL will surely love it. I do love the pattern -- I made one years ago and still love seeing the various color changes that make different versions look so unique. :)

A wonderful quilt to mark a wonderful milestone! May you and they have many more.

That is a nice quilt and a great gift. The label is beautiful too. Just in time is perfect! Taria

Simply stunning, Donna! What a terrific anniversary present. Lucky couple!

You've got some other beautiful quilts in your album too. Your Jewel Box and Blue Skies and Sunshine caught my attention. Just lovely.

Best regards, Michelle in NV

That is quite stunning, as is the rest of your work.

Beautiful work.

Thanks, Sandy. My inspiration for making this one was one done with the hydrangea fabric. I would love to make another one with some of the hydrangea fabric--but maybe not right away. LOL
