Had a blessing for 35 years? My goodness. That must have been a Baptist preacher. Mercy, how they do go on and on and on. There's probably been many a chicken and dumplin' Sunday dinner grown cold while a Baptist minister asked the blessing. If you ever have a choice, it is a better idea to ask a Methodist. Polly

DH and I travelled back to the church where we were wed and had a blessing for 35 years.We then found the hotel where our reception was held and had sunday dinner after which we went to the local flea market/antiques market and as soon as I walked in my eyes landed on a lovely quilt,lone star blocks in pink and green with white BG. It was made beautifully, birthed and hand quilted. It has been well used but not worn. It has 2 fairly small stains which havent come out with biotec soak, but I love it and DH got it for £31 for my BD.!! I cant believe my luck,it is probably only 10-15 years old but I appreciate the work involved and just love owning it. Wish the person had labled it , but I will put a label on stating when and where bought dates etc Estelle
