Thanks, Kay! I really like that blue, too. :)
Thanks, Marcella. :) The cruise was very nice, except for the first two rather rough days. After that, it was gorgeous!
Thanks, Christina. :)
Thanks, Heidi! :)
I missed the original post, but followed a reply to see your feathered star quilt. Awesome! I'm working on a dark background quilt for DS1 and SDIL. I love the bright colours on the dark background.
They are beautiful, Sandy, like all your work ! Heidi from Germany (trying to catch up with the posts ) Sandy Foster schrieb:
Heidi -- Thank you for catching up! I had printed out the photo of Sandy's feathered African star and shown it to a friend. Then I couldn't remember whose it was or where it was. And then your reply showed up!! (That's eerie. . . .)
Sandi -- Is there a pattern or something? Or a resource? I think I'm about to order Marsha McCloskey's feathered star book. I just love finding an excuse to use borderprints. I loved using them for clothing too. I think your use of the dark background is what "makes" the quilt. Gosh, this is at least the second time I've gushed over that same quilt. If I ever get myself from Reno to Las Vegas, I'd love to be able to see the quilt in person.
