Happy Dance :)

After much procrastination and delay, I've finally finished that Northwind quilt I began last October! :) I've posted photos at , though the quilt didn't hang straight in the only spot in our home where I could hang it; it doesn't have a sleeve, you see, so there are limited places where I can pin it up.

Baravelle Spiral is *almost* finished -- it just needs blocking. :D

The Northwind quilt is beautiful! Great job!

My goodness. Magic, just pure magic. The gators say they are up for one more round of Happy Dancing - except for the one who's in that old lady's kitchen. He won't be in until she takes the chocolate chip cookies out of the oven. Beautiful quilt. Polly

Thanks, Taria! I hope the bride and groom will agree.

Thanks, Polly! :) Tell the gator that chocolate isn't good for him. ;)

I'm so sorry, Miz Polly. I've been neglecting our Gators quite badly.

Will they even consider a "no show' store clerk or 2 AND the manager? Nothing like needing help and the janitor can't even find a clerk--and after waiting and waiting for the MANAGER to come and not showing up--we gave up. Poor janitor did everything she could for us...but...

Butterfly (she knew we appreciated her trying)

Sandy, that is really beautiful. I loved it before - it looks even more gorgeous now. Your quilting is so very good. I love the 'echoed' feathers - especially the ones in the black piece of the close-up. Well done - lucky friends! . In message , Sandy writes

Ahhhhh, just the kind of quilt to feast the eyes on first thing this morning! Thanks! Dancing in the moonlight for ya, Sandy!

That is lovely Sandy. Did you mq all of the feathers. The white on black are particularly striking!

Thanks, Estelle. Yes, I did MQ all of the feathers, using a variegated cotton thread in beige tones. :) I couldn't figure out what color would work on all of those blocks, so this was the solution. LOL!

Thanks, Pat! I echoed the feathers all over the quilt this time -- it takes up more room that way. ;) The ones on black in the close-up are part of that border. I have to give a lot of credit to the BSR feature of my Bernina; I never could keep my stitches even before I bought that. :)
