Happy dancing again

I just got back from the charity auction at an area Bible camp. The "Nana's Garden" quilt I had donated sold for $900. Photos are at I had made a wallhanging with the leftover blocks, and that sold for $250. I usually don't have any trouble giving away my quilts; I really liked this one and would have liked to keep it, but I have plenty of quilts, including others with similar colors. It helps that it sold well.

Julia, that's wonderful! I can see why you might have wanted to keep Nana's Garden, but the fact that it made so much money for the Bible camp shows that other people must have really liked it too. I'm sure that means it's going to a nice home!

What a gorgeous quilt! And how great that it sold for such a good price. :)

That's a beautiful quilt, Julia; and a splendid price achieved from your donation. They must be thrilled - with that and the wallhanging amount. It is very generous of you to have donated it, after going through trials to get it completed.

That's gorgeous, and I'm happy it got the kind of money it's worth. Dancing in the moonlight for ya, Julia!
