Does anyone know where I can find a pattern for one of those fabric bags that have holes on each end, and a handle to hang from a door knob, to store your plastic grocery bags in??? I'm thinking they must have a bit of elastic in each end too. I'd like a free online pattern, but will take anything. TIA.

it's basically a drawstring bag which you could definitely find instruction for, but with a drawstring both ends, but instead of a drawstring, you pull elastic through it and sew it so it's about the same tightness as a hair scrunchy, maybe a little tighter, if you just go ahead and make one you'll figure it out at the stage you need to! I made one of these years ago entirely by hand!

Make a casing for elastic on one long end, then sew up the short ends into a tube (leave the casing end open. Thread the elastic through the casing and close it up. At the other end, I just stitched a piece of wide seam binding around the top, sandwiching in a little loop for hanging. You could use ribbon too, or if you really wanted to get fancy, you could bind the top.
