HGTV fall line-up for Canadians

I've seen "Sew Much More." I just hope the new one is better!

Say no more, Ruth, I have also seen "Sew Much More" - HGTVca snuck that one in during the last season as a Friday morning replacement for a Canadian sewing program - it was OK in some areas but the hostess had such a motor mouth that her words came out as one, that is when the audio had volume. The best thing about "Sew Much More" was the very last 2 minute segment when they visited a textile artist - those segments were much too short. Jennifer in Ottawa

Hi Nina, thanks for responding and for emailing them. I definitely agree with you that there are too many home dec and reno programs on the air and its even worse when there are repeat series on the other networks - Life, TLC and I see that A&E are also starting up in the fall, also WTN, TVO, PBS, Rogers (who used to produce a Canadian quilting show from BC), and probably others that I have forgotten. A search brought up their Broadcasting link which listed all the networks governed by them including HGTV.ca. This link brought up the pdf file for the fall line-up and the confirmation that Simply Quilts is not going to be seen in Canada. Just opened up my email, (was away for a short trip to Minnesota) and got a reply from HGTV.ca and we will be getting Simply Quilts back this fall, it will be on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. E.T. WAAHOOO

Question is, will they still be the same repeats that we've seen a half dozen times already.

Hi Julie, why don't you get HGTV in Montreal? Use the contact address below to ask questions and have your friends do the same. If you want them to put quilting shows on in Quebec then let them know that there is a market for that type of programming. If their form letter response is to be believed - they care about viewers opinions. Jennifer in Ottawa

You should be able on Videotron. I used to get it when I lived there.

It's not part of the basic package.
