Hi to everyone, old friends and new

Hi, I am back. Its been a while, for those who remember me. Its been a busy couple of years, with health problems and a full-time job and part-time studies, I've hardly had time to lurk, let alone post messages. I hope you are all doing well. I think this is my year to re-connect with my patchwork/quilting side. When I tried to enrol at University for next year, every, and i do mean EVERY unit I tried to enrol in, is either not offered semester one or it is only offered during the day when I am at work. I think the Quilting Goddess is trying to tell me something!! And this year, I am going to listen. Time to get my SM out, dust it off and get sewing. I have some catching up to do. For those who do not remember me I'm Heather and I live in Western Australia (hence the West Oz). I've been posting to RCTQ on and off since 1999 or thereabouts. I have a 3-legged Siamese QI who turned 17 this Halloween and who still demands the right to put his mark/hair on every project I work on,

3 great DD's and a partner who has seen me through the worst of times. It's good to be back. Best wishes to everyone for Xmas and the New Year Be safe

Hi Heather Welcome back. I know from experience how life "gets in the way" sometimes. I still lurk mostly, a few comments now and then, but I haven't actually quilted in over a year. I'm sure it will feel good for you to get back to your machine!

Merry Christmas!

Welcome home, Heather! :D It's good to see you again, and I'm glad that you're going to be able to get back to quilting, even if it's only for a semester at a time. :)

Hi Heather, Welcome back, I'm Elly and relatively new here so we haven't 'met'. I haven't been posting much lately but read what I can (240 messages in my mail box from RCTQ alone ... eeeek...) and I stick my pennyth worth in now and then.
