Hiding threads on Redwork or other embroidery

When embroidering with colored thread on a very light background onemust work to avoid the threads on the wrong side shadowing on thefront side. I recently heard that some hand stitchers are using aPelon product called "Stacy". This is ironed to the wrong side of thefabric before stitching is started. According to the rumors I haveheard the extra layer does not cause problems with the embroiderystitches and prevents the shadowing. Has anyone tried Stacy? Have yousuccessfully tried anything else? One of the designers suggests thatyou stitch through two layers of muslin. I find this awkward and wouldprefer an iron-on product. All suggestions will be appreciated.Susan

cant take LIME seriously? uh ok, i'll try to splain that to the big suitcase full of nothing but LIMEs. dont spect it'll go down too well there, lol. i doubt i'll ever use all of them in this lifetime, i'm try'n tho. no worrys, j.
