How is Pami?

Has anyone heard from Pami? I would like to know how her chemo is going. I hope she is feeling ok, or at least holding her own. I know it is rough and one doesn't feel like doing much. Pami, if you are out there I am keeping you in my daily prayers.

I had a little back and forth email with Pami this week. She's enjoying the moments and not letting life pass her by. She has some days that are worse than others. She hates what she calls chemo-brain. I just call it rather normal, but oh well. She really encouraged me in something I was stuggling with and gave me a fresh new direction. Do continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

Pami posted a 'Happy Easter' thread here on 3/22. I copied it in case you missed it-

Happy Easter. May you be with your family and enjoy the day. I am done with radiation but still getting chemo. Hopefully my next bone scan will be more favorable than the last one. Hugs, Pami

I recently stumbled across some info about a drug that has been tried for chemo-brain, it was only on a small group of people, but the results were very positive. Brand name is Provigil, drug name is modafinil. May be worth asking the doctor about?

This is me Pami...this post makes me feel so special and so loved. I have energy days and some days I just chill out and sit in my recliner and fall asleep. It's good to finally have an appetite and know you're not going to feel ill. We went to an all you could eat buffet for Easter. It was an Italian Buffet and I got up 3 times!!! Hugs to all... Pami

Good to hear from you! Prayers that your good days far outnumber your bad days.... that your appetitie continue to allow you to regain your strength and that you continue to fight this overwhelming battle!

We're thinking of you..... everyday! Know that you are in our hearts and prayers and that you are not, for even a second, alone.

Hello Sunshine! Good to hear from you again, and to know that you are feeling better. Of course you have your better days and your "I'll relax in the recliner days". Hang in there, you are one tough cookie and we are all right behind you. Remember your kindness and thoughtfulness,
