chemo

The few chemos hit me like bricks. I am struggling so hard with them. I am on Taxotere and it is so awful. It attacked all my joints. I had chemo last Wednesday so I am coming out of it now a little but. When I begin to cook and get dressed it's a good sign. My hug has been with me all last week. Hugs, Pami

Why don't you 'plan' the trip for when you have recovered from Chemo? Do it as a gift to yourself..... give you something to look forward to. Would LOVE seeing you in real time

MomII (have to get our AZ ladies together...wouldn't that be fun?--wonder if there is a Quilt Show out here--just haven't had time to check it out/ask yet)

Hang in there, Pami. It *does* get better.

About the hair problems: I went to a Sally's and asked a kindly clerk what was the best thing to use when MSM went through chemo and radiation therapy. She recommended 911 and my mother used it for about 6 months or until the brittle hair had all grown out. It was wonderful stuff!!! She used it after every shampoo, and it made her hair very soft and flexible so it didn't break off when she brushed or combed her hair. She never did lose much hair, thanks to that product. NAYY and YMMV

There's a wonderful show in Tucson every January. And there are a couple in Phoenix every year, though I haven't made it to any of those yet. Let me know if you do an AZ get-together, I would love to join in.

Carolyn, hopefully we can manage to meet up at the Tucson show this year. Didn't see you last year when I was down. May try to go down and spend a couple of days there this year. Not sure yet.
