Sorry, everyone! But between the work, preparations for Christmas (I made 14 lbs of mincemeat and 7lbs worth or Christmas Puddings this week, and have the cakes to do still!), and the various different evil germs lurking round here (been on antibiotics all week), I just can't get to every post! I'm thinking of you all, loving every one of you, and sending healing prayers where needed. I'm in need of a quilting day or three!

yes I did thanks and no I didn't - we had apple cake instead :-)
I'd love a Dutch Apple Cake recipe. :)
I'll go poke in my recipe books and see what comes up - just remember that the Dutch tend towards really "greasy" cakes compared to English ones as they use more fat in the recopies.
