I went to a sew in today and got lots of stuff done...at least for me. I can't seem to concentrate on sewing/quilting when i'm at home, so i have to go to these all day events with friends to get any work done. I have nearly finished assembling a quilt top for DH's grandmother, and hope to get it quilted by Christmas. I started on a Winnie the Pooh quilt for DD, and have finally decided on a design...of course, you won't see it until it's done...lol. I also basted a quilt that was originally intended for the little girl next door. I was hoping to get it done earlier than this but things got in the way. She was diagnosed about a year and a half ago with brain tumors, but lost her battle last month. So now the quilt will be going to her mother. I'm just thrilled to no end to finally be getting some of my UFO's completed, and next on the agenda is getting the studio reorganized so that I can spend more time down there. I'll have to do that this week while I'm still feeling up to it, and no, I won't push too hard. I'll only work in 30 minute intervals, I promise. I hope to have newly finished quilts up on my website in the next few weeks...but we'll see how it goes.
