I'm actually getting something done!!!

Well, I have been working sporadically on the banner that was promised roughly 2 years ago, and I am happy to say that the top is FINISHED!!!!!

Granted, it went through many design changes as I worked, but still, finished is good!!! Now I need to choose between 2 possible backing fabrics, dig out the batting, and so forth!

I also have the separate banner bits cut for the fusible applique "Faith" and "Hope" banners that I will be making for friends who happen to have daughters with those names. I need to trace the various sections on fusible web and then I can start rolling with them.

Phew!!

And I had my 2nd round of allergy testing - this time, 21 needles under the skin for different environmental allergens. I'm allergic to grass, trees, dust mites, and mold....but not to cats and dogs (those were the only 2 that tested negative out of 19 allergens, other 2 were the control thingies). I am still red and blotchy on both arms, but at least I know what is going on...just waiting to hear what insurance has to say about allergy shots.

I might not get as much as I had planned done this year as I will be in

2 Bible studies for a while, plus aerobics 2 nights a week, plus taking thomas to karate, plus choir practice......

Monday: DD to preschool, me to doc appointments, DSs school, or actually having time to sew Tuesday: free day....should be able to get housework and sewing done sometime during the day, aerobics in the evening Wednesday: Bible study, take DS to karate, choir practice Thursday: also free day, aerobics in the evening Friday: free day Saturday: family day Sunday: Sunday school, choir practice, church/choir, AWANA for DH and DS/childcare for DD/Bible study for me

ARGH!!! lol I swear, I'm actually ahed of the planned projects, though. Taxes are as done as they can be without some of the paperwork being in yet....DH is enrolled in his next semester of college classes, enrollment for DD's next year of preschool is coming up next month...but for now, I have a break from paperwork.
