I need prayer

My youngest son (the one with my 3 grandkids) informed me yesterday that they are moving to Florida. THEY NEED HELP LIVING IN ILLINOIS HOW ARE THEY GOING TO LIVE IN FLORIDA. Please, pray that they change their mind. If they move there I will probably never see them again. there is no way I will be able to go to Florida and as far as them visiting us, fat chance. DIL has been in my home only 2 or 3 times and that was during the holidays. I almost had a nervous breakdown when my oldest moved to Arkansas and I wasn't real close to the grandgirls at that time cause they were to young. This will be worse cause I have spent a lot of time with Bella and we have so much fun together. Please either way I need some peace about this. If they have to leave Illinois why can't they go to Arkansas, That way we will all be in the same state.

Prayers are on their way! Do they have anywhere to live once they get to Florida? And what will they eat? Do they have answers to these questions? There are lots of unemployed in FL and they are very lucky to find part time work at minimum wages. Barbara in Central FL Land of the Tornadoes

All I know is they do have a house. Feeling better, at least about my not seeing them, is that DH said that it will take less than a day to get there & I also figured out how to do it health wise. As long as they have air conditioning I can go from the van to the house with no trouble. I just can not walk far in the humidity. I knowt this is from everyone praying for this situation.

Hugs and prayers are on their way -- it's hard to be far away from your "kids" - even though (and especially) when they're grown with kids of their own. ME-Judy

Have I missed the backstory?

I guess my parents must have felt like you do about 4 years ago, when my husband got a job in the PNW, so we moved from Cambridge, UK, to Seattle.

Life happens, we've had a baby that most of the family has never met and already one of the goodbyes has turned out to be permenant this side of heaven.

They are adults, they have to make their own decisions and their own mistakes.

I agree with Anne. They are grownups and need to make they're own way.

Don't panic. The time may come when you can go there to visit and visa versa. Send care packages, like we did during Dessert Storm to our boys. They are really appreciated.
