if you're sewing on the machine, i use a regular #14. but by hand...i guess any needle that is comfortable will do.

Welcome! I've made fleece patchwork blankies, no backing, just butting edges together. Used a machine feather stitch and a regular needle, #14 IIRC. My machine has a walking foot, that helps.

I use a standard ballpoint needle for fleece. I sew lots of it into clothing as well as having used it for blankies... Size according to weight of fleece, but never more than a 90...

Most of us have BTDT (been there done that -- including making all possible mistakes and learning the hard way what NOT to do) on about anything relating to quilting - so ask away. ME-Judy

Hi Deb! Can't help with the fleece needles. I'd just like to say Welcome to the Land of RCTQ. We have fun here, no moderator, no rules. The only thing you really need to know is that it is very wise to have your chocolate vetted. Just send a pound or two to the Office of the Official Chocolate Taster of RCTQ, which is in my Palace here in Virginia. I will test and taste and report back via email. You don't have to thank me ... this is my unselfish volunteer duty in RCTQ. A tough job, but someone's gotta do it. :)
