but not as much as they said -- only about 4-5 inches! Maybe we'll get more later on....

Just finished the snowblowing... and the shoveling! I love fresh snow!

I guess I'll really have to move back to MI if I ever want to see much snow again! Gen

All we got here are some light flurries. At 38 F they didn't stick.

Dear, dear Kate. I would be happy to send you ours if I could. My husband went to the hospital yesterday for some outpatient surgery (he had to say two days), it snowed 3-4" overnight (so I couldn't have gotten him home today anyway), the nut and bolt that holds the tank to the toilet is leaking all over my floor (thank goodness for nice thick towels), and the plumber is due here at 1 this afternoon.

I'll keep the husband and toilet, but would gladly give you the snow.

We got 11" overnight here in Springfield, IL, and it's beautiful! With temperatures in the high 20's and almost no wind, it was lovely getting out the snowthrower and doing my driveway and the front walk for everybody on the block. Schools are closed, and many businesses, so lots of people are home enjoying the snow today.
