Jax QuiltFest 2007

Wow... what a great bunch of quilts. Makes me reasonably sure I'll never be entering any of mine in a show, but that's okay. It's always been and will be fun. Have a look at the amazing work at the show.

I am always amazed at the talent that people have. W#hen I am getting to where I think I'm good, all I have to do is look at what others have done.

Thanks for posting the quilt show photos, Debi. I have just enjoyed the slide show - I'd find it difficult if I had to choose a favourite or two or three! jennellh

You're quite welcome. I am always in awe of the talent there. I can't think of an absolute favorite either. They're all great in their own way.

Love the Flamingo Art Deco. I guess they're back. I can remember the flamingos-on-a-stick in front yards back in the 50's. When my aunt and uncle brought back pictures of flamingos in Florida, I realized they were real entities.

LOL Kay. Quite a few years ago I moved into a house with a friend and we found the previous owner had left stuff behind. Among them were several pink plastic flamingos *with twirly windcatcher wings*! I put every last one of them up high on the chainlink fence at the end of the yard, the better to catch the wind with, my dear.;-) Tacky as all hell but fun, and our house was easy to find!

I need more coffee to visualize that!! ROTFL

Thanks. I needed a giggle this morning.
