I've been reading, but honestly, with the way things have been going, I can't remember when I last posted.
Today is grocery day (only happens twice a month, so not a big issue), but then I have to put aside the Mariner's Compass that I am doing for DH and get to work on DSs sleeping bag and the princess costume that DD will be giving a classmate for a present....both needed by the
26th, if not earlier.
I repaired a zipper on a formal for the Cinderella Project - first time I did an invisible zipper that was a success!! Took a while to find one that was close enough in color as the dress is one of the brightest deep pinks that I have ever seen (an y'all know how much I hate pink, right?). I will be re-attaching a couple of sequins that are dangling, then taking it over to be put back in the mix of dresses when I take DD to the bowling birthday party this Saturday.
I'm still shooting for getting the MC done for DHs birthday in May, but he knows that I'm doing a big project and said it didn't matter. SO I said that the latest it would be done was for our anniversary. At least that gives me some breathing room.
Brady is adjusting well to the family, though this past Saturday, he got spooked when he ran into, and then through, the screen door (yes, it's broken and we will be getting a new one). He will go back to the vet on Thursday for bloodwork and to have them check his rear legs as he seems to be limping a little bit. But on Wednesday, he gets to go to school for a little while!! The preschool said we could bring him in because they are talking about the different kinds of animals (reptiles, mammals, birds, amphibians, and so forth).
Well, that's where I am right now, might actually get some pictures of the center medallion up within the next few weeks.
