Keepsake Quilting Club?

Hi,

I have membership in the Gold club. The value to you of the coupons depends on how much you might purchase in a year. I don't have them handy right now but they are mostly of the " $1.50 off any medley" or "$1.00 off any notion" etc. There are $60.00 worth of coupons but your outlay to garner that much would be huge. I do like the storage box, the gold fabric squares, and the club catalog (just a bit different from the regular one) that come with membership. I will renew.

hmmmmmmm, just noticed, Connie. your puter is showing this arriving on my server an hour after it is now. weird. must be your puters setting. did it make the change over from daylight to regular time? cuz its only 2:25 here now and the msg i'm replying too arrived at 3:25, most peculiar. it always shows my time that the msg arrives. its not 3:25 yet tho. hmmmmmm. if that makes any sense at all, i'll let you figure it out. i'm in need of a shower now. got all hot and irritated fixing this puter today. cheers, jeanne

I think this was asked before, but for the life of me, I can't find it!! Grrrrr ....

Does anyone here have membership in the Keepsake Quilting Club (whether Gold or "regular")?? I've been thinkin' 'bout joinin' and just aren't sure if it's worth it or not. For instance, are the "coupons" that you get with the club worth it? Are they good on normal items (rather than "white elephants" that they're tryin' to get rid of)?? And does the membership seem to pay for itself over time?

Any opinions? Testimonials? Cheers? Jeers? :)

TIA!! :)

Thanks for hollerin' at me, Rita!!

So ... the coupons are for normal, good stuff - not just the stuff they can't sell otherwise? That's exactly what I'm lookin' for! I just can't stand it when they offer "savings" off stuff you'd never, ever want to buy!! That drives me looney!!

Again, thank you!! It sounds like a great deal and I'll join! :)

Hugs! Connie :)

Well, for the past few days, even though we've not actually switched over to DST (I think we do that THIS weekend - thanks Congress!!), my computer did, so I manually changed it to the right time (right now, my time is 8:29 Central Standard Time - I'm in the Florida Panhandle).

It just got too damn confusing - I'm scatterbrained enough as it is without havin' to figure out the right time!!

FWIW, only my computer mucked it up - my cable tv, cell phone and broadband internet has kept the correct time! Go figger!

As soon as I asked you, I thought about that ... but I usually misinterpret things enough as is, so I figured I'd ask. 'Sides, if'n I hadn't, you'd not have told me the story behind it!

And I liked hearing it! :)

Oooh .... nooooo.... you would HAVE to tell me ... "These are not the droids you're looking for ..." (really bad Alec Guinness imitation)

Sorry, bad joke ... almost did the one with a horrible German accent "Ve haf vays ov makink you talk ...."

See, it's 'bout 10:30 PM my time and I'm already silly! ;)

Well, to me, New Zealand IS pretty durn exotic. I've never been (though I've always wanted to - hubby gets to go to Australia in January, though that's not the same - and I *might* be goin' along for the ride - I hope so - all the pics I've seen show such beautiful scenery and landmarks!!) Hubby'd be goin' for the US Navy, but he wants to go so he SCUBA. You live in such a beautiful country - you're so lucky!!

*sigh*

Hugs!! Connie :)
