Keepsake Quilting (I think)

Hi all,



I had a catalogue for this company and unfortunatly my darling children disposed of it while cleaning up the living room one day. Now I am not 100% sure but pretty close to it that there was a picture of a treeskirt I was planning on making for christmas. If anyone has the fall/winter catalogue, if it is in there, could you let me know? It was red and gree and white, and the way the laid out the fabric, the white almost looked like lace. I can't really give a better decription though cause I forget (sob sob sob) I tried to reorder the catalogue, and I ordered one in my friends name to be sent her (arent I nice :) Dont worry she quilts too and would love it lol but none have come so far so I am thinking I wont get a new one till spring. Sorry for my long winded post. And thank you for looking for me.

Carissa - I think the one you are referring to may be on page 85 of the Holiday Update 2005 of Keepsake Quilting. It's called A Cowboy Christmas? Looks like a star in the center and "lacey" looking around the star? is that it?

oooh I think maybe... yes it was a star. And the lace. Don't remeber the name though. It didnt have anything to do with cowboys at any rate but some names really are creative lol Is it a pattern I can buy or was it just a picture? I searched their entire website and I couldn't find it :( I can't find the pic or a pattern there. Thank you for the info.

Well I am amazed. Those are log cabin blocks and I like it anyway. I have never liked a log cabin block before. Now, how'd that happen?

de nada i'm getting really good at finding patterns w/in patterns... I just can't seem to cut or measure accurately anymore... sigh... I really like that tree skirt!

Wonder what your measuring problem is Kellie? I have two rulers here that I know are off. They're okay for a straight edge but that's all. Maybe you need to check what you're cutting by. Could be that they're off just enough to make you miserable. Polly
