Now that is the most innovative thing I have ever seen!!!!!! I never would have thought...........

You and Pati should be in the "travel fashion" business!!!!!

I second that...truly amazing and ingeniously creative! There is probably a new memo out to the airlines to stop further culprits of fabric stowaways. KJ

I think your carry ons looked far more unusual than you did. Well done! Debra in VA See my quilts at

Jeanne, trying to catch up again reading the group, only a little over 600 to read tonight, but I love this outfit, you did great but didn't you get HOT?

not too bad. in air-conditioned airports and airplanes all the way and i took it off when sitting waiting for planes or in the planes. it was a nice weight too. somehow comforting, oddly enough. was a bit sad to dismantle it but had to be done. j.

That is impressive, indeed! Looks great. Looks like a real garment, and comfy too.

Can't wait to show my husband your pictures of the trip home. He thinks I purchase a lot. We have always lived near good shops. As he is thinking of a retirement location I have reminded him that one requirement is a good quilt shop within a one hour drive. He will understand better once he sees your stash moving home.
