So it's gone, rather frustrating as it works for everything I've attempted to have it do other than freemotion quilting on a large quilt. It's only been gone since this morning, DH has only been home for about an hour in that time and it's amazing his capability to take over space, I was musing about getting out my serger, or old sewing machine only to find that my sewing table has vanished, his laptop is on it, as are a box and bits of packaging!
My intention is to use the time to cut pieces for a couple of projects that I've planned. I usually rotate between cutting and sewing for anything but a small quilt. All being well I should be on a retreat next Thursday-Sunday and having things pre cut should reduce what I need to take with me, but will be a loss of satisfaction in the mean time, finishing a block is satisfying!
