Making Christmas Quilt in July

Hello Everyone,

I have been working on a Christmas quilt in all this heat and it has been making me feel cooler. There are little snowmen and winter snow all over it. Is anyone else working on Christmas?

I'm not now but several years ago I made a Christmas tree WUH in September, a month when I am often *really* tired of the endless summer here in central Texas, and it made me feel cooler too. Also put me in the best mood ;-)

EEPS - I have a Christmas calendar with the little pockets to open every day until Christmas, for my grandkids. Time sure does fly.

I've got a wallhanging cut out for an exchange on another list and also just got some hand-me-down fabric from Mom with an unfinished wallhanging top that really just needs the large redwork Santa in the middle done. Maybe I'll root around for my embroidery stuff and work on him a bit later. Goodness knows I could stand to feel a bit cooler.

I'm not, but I am planning to work on something christmassy over the next few weeks, probably a set of place mats.

Howdy!

See, Taria? I did NOT start it this time.

Way to go, Janet; carry on.

I'm working on a McKenna Ryan pattern... from her Gingerbread Lane series....

The gingerbread house! Lots of little pieces... but oh so cute!
