Christmas in July Challenge!

So how are you guys doing with this one? We are halfway through the month so how about posting here if you are doing or going to do the challenge and what your goal is? Remember to put some of your cards away for the troops!

I haven't started yet and plan on doing a whole series of hybrid cards to send to the troops! With the new restrictions on the thickness of the cards, I'm going to keep the thicker ones I make for friends and family!

I think I missed the Challenge. Could someone explain it? It sounds like we're starting Christmas cards though. LOL Which I SO desperately need to do!!

That is exactly right! You start making your Christmas/Holiday cards and then set some aside for the troups. An easy challenge that we all needed, but I haven't heard from anyone about how they are doing.... we were also supposed to add a tag line with the # of Holiday Cards made, which you can continue updating till November. There is a surprise but I'm not telling anyone what it is or when I'll be giving it out! Will it be at the end of July, or in November... only I know what it is, what it's for and when my deadline is!

HTHs Deb and everyone

I'm not going to do it this year... I'm all burnt out on card-making! I've got a whole box full of old ones that I can recycle come Christmas time if I get the urge, but at this point I'm not expecting to even send any except to my family.

I haven't started the Christmas cards.... but I want too. Got in the middle of this "remove all furniture from the carpet" project, so we can have it cleaned, stretched and repaired. hahaha That's why I got my "One Sheet Wonder" swap done quickly. AND I knew I had time to do the ATC's in August. I should have time to get the cards going as the carpet guys are coming Friday. WHEW! It will be SO nice to get the carpet cleaned and the lumps removed.

Yes, it's never too early to start Christmas cards. LOL (Especially never too early for me!)
