OK ladies, how often have I and many of you spoken about not starting your Christmas cards early enough? Well, that's this month's challenge. Let's see how many Christmas cards you can make and for every 10 you make how about setting one aside to send to our troops. For those of you in the US, please remember that the USPS is now charging higher postage on cards that are thicker than, I believe, 1/4 inch. For the soldier cards, please put them aside and I'll get back to you on where to send them! Thanks and have a merry Christmas in July!!!

Great Challenge!! I have been thinking I need to get started on mine. Just been waiting on WL! I like the idea of setting one aside for our troops.
Great idea M-C. I have a draw with all the supplies I bought about 2 years ago to make cards and only found them this past winter stored away. I put them in their own draw so I could find every thing and make the cards. May as well start in July! Then I can fill the drawer with completed cards and do a good deed at the same time.

Sounds fun especially since I have new christmas themed toys to play with. Are we limiting them to Christmas or is Hannukah included too (for those troops/members who celebrate that holiday)?
Happy Holidays is actually what I meant... any holiday!!!!

Great challenge M-C. I'll have to see how many I can get done before the packers come in a couple of weeks.
I just wanted to point out that most if not all of the membes on RCS whether in Australia, Canada, the US, New Zealand, etc... have troops that will be away from home for one reason or another! I thought it might be fun to keep a running tally of the cards we make for the troops in our sig lines and continue to make holiday cards between now and the end of November. I hope that we will make the cards for the troops as nice as what we would do for our own friends and family.

This may actually help me to get them done early this year. I'll see how many I can get done since I'm off the rest of the week.
