MIA

Hi, I'm still here in the Great Midwest, I read but don't post. The remodeling of the living room that is keeping me away from my quilting supplies has gone on since October '05 and still isn't done yet. (arrrgghhh and tearing my hair out) but other than that life is good and full of beady things. Thanks for asking after me. Its good to see that your life is full and challenging, Sharon. Di ps. Must be another Diana C. on Carol's PP site. I 'can' paper piece, I just 'don't' :D

YAY PINK!

At some point in the next 5 years, I'm going to buy a Mom's Car that won't get taken over by my rather mercenary sons. The last Mom's Car we bought is no longer mine and I get *long-suffering* looks when I use it. The next Mom's Car will be pink so that my sons won't *want* to claim it. :-D

She got the Urban Fox, with all the bells and whistles, in a nice blue. A great little Granny's Hatchback Shopping Basket! :)

Cute car! I'm all enthused that they reintroduced the VW Rabbit. I want a VW Rabbit. A pink VW Rabbit. :-D

Good thing you don't live near Kate's mum -- her Fox might not be friendly to your Rabbit! ;)

Imagine the commercial that would make.

Kate's mum's Fox lurks behind trees... Rose's Rabbit pulls out of the driveway and the chase is on! Vroom vroom!

Hi Kate, I have a VWCabriolet that is a standard shift (28mph), red with a black rag top. We call her Lady Bug. I absolutely love this little car. Great Mileage, fun to drive and reliable too.

Catching up on some old posts...

Did you see the ad for the new Rabbit?

A black car and a white car are chasing each other around a field. They go in to a tunnel. They come out of the tunnel followed by three gray cars, on had black doors and white doors. (It was a four door car...) Over the course of the rest of the commercial, the roads fill up with black cars, white cars, gray cars, gray cars with mixed doors. It ends up with a major traffic jam in the middle of a city with the roads absolutely packed with these cars!

At the end, "The Rabbit is back."

Made me laugh out loud!

I'm here, just barely.

Moved into my new home, new address, new phone number, same e-mail addy. If anyone wants my new one, send me a private e-mail and I'll let you know. I'm not going to post it in the forum like I accidentally did a couple years ago!

Been meaning to mention the two squishies I got for my birthday. Both were forwarded. Thanks!
