Yes and no. Lot less stress for the kids, we're still working on jobs and legal issues.

We're trying to get transcripts from the last court hearing in family court. My ex's lawyer lied and claimed I had been served when I hadn't. The judge ordered child support reduced to zero (he's acting more like my ex's lawyer's law partner than a judge), and I'm waiting for the chance to file grievances with the state bar, the Department of Justice, and the Judicial Review Board. Funny how those transcripts have disappeared. Someone needs to do a FOIA.

Our new house is great, but I won't be happy until I can rest assured my kids won't end up in the hands of a pedophile.

I have not seen that one yet. I have a red Cabriolet and I love it. Is the new Rabbit as cute?

I don't think the new Rabbit is nearly as cute as the old one. Gone are the funky angles that made bunnies distinctive. Now it looks just like any other little jelly bean on the road.

Howdy!

Well, it is "just a Volkswagen."

It can be doubly hard to see the last of a generation go from a family. Do hope you are feeling more cheerful soon.

So sorry to read about your losses Morag. These days our relative are living so much longer and we also are older when they pass away. It seems to hit us even harder. My neighbor's Mom passed away in April. She was 92 and he is 65. Imagine that you could have your Mother in your life for such a long time, truly a gift.

yes, I understand how Morag feels. We've got one aunt left, and we're trying to hold on to her.

We're upset in our family because we're seeing the first of MY generation to go. My cousin died suddenly at the age of 50. Everyone loved him, and we're devastated.
