I have received about 8 e-mails today, from Multiply-noreply, telling me all sorts of nonsense about the messages I have posted to RCTQ today (to the effect, basically, that they haven't been received - but they are on the group messages). DH has just had a look at them, and they don't seem to be sinister. His theory is that someone has set up to receive RCTQ messages as e-mails, and 'mine' have been 'bounced'.Has anyone else been plagued by this? or is it perhaps because they don't like 'where I'm coming from'?

I got a few too, but only from one thread and I saw all those messages appear in the thread, so I can't accidently have hit reply to sender, that option isn't even one of my buttons, nor is replying to group and sender. So I don't know what it is, but I haven't got any more, so I'm not going to worry!

Tip for this, in most email programs if you hover over the link, the actual details of the link will appear somewhere, mine are in the bottom left corner of the screen. So a link can look innocent like

formatting link

and it's telling you you need to verify or lose your access or whatever, hover over it and the real link should pop up and it will be something completely different and you can safely ignore the email. Never open a link without first checking the link is the same as what is says it is, if hovering doesn't work, there is usually an option when you right click it and the drop down menu appears, but never left click without being confident that what it says is the same as where is is actually going and that that is somewhere you want to go.

Ummm nope, I've been getting them too. I just thought they bounced from someone who had a munged addy or full box. I wasn't too worried about it since the messages did show up here. I would hate to think that the ghosts in my basement are getting on my laptop down there and trying to play tricks on me. They do funny things sometimes, especially when DH is out of town.
