Hi Tia,

Yes, they are my toes - before pic, they look really nice now with their party paint on. I have three calico girl furbabies - Mishka, Cami and Floyd (named after pink Floyd).

Thank you.

I actually have four furbabies (all female) and one biiiiggggg dog - Otto - cross between a doberman and a Rottweiler (I think that's spelt correctly).

Thats looking really nice Di. I love the dark green in the outer border, it adds a bit of zing.

I love it, it's so masculine and yet so beautiful, like a painting is beautiful. You QI is a hoot on that corner! LOL

I really love how you found fabric to tie together the colors of the horse and the jockey's colors.

I'm not into horses or horseracing, but I love looking at your quilt just because of the colors. Beautiful!

Just a little about the material: The coloured patterned material was a pillowslip, the cream coloured border was an off-cut from a sheet, the dark brown border is from a single bed sheet, the light green strips are off-cuts and the dark green border around the picture and in the outer border are from a green tablecloth, the binding is also from a single bed sheet.

The batting is 100% wool and the backing was a cotton curtain. [IMG]

I can be very frugal when I need to be. My daughter loves it.
