I must say, it was the pattern that got rave comments from my guild buddies! Yeah, they liked my colour choice and quilting too, but the pattern was the winner. Thanks to Pat on her Hill. I took her book along and displayed it with the cushion, the guild will now buy a copy from Amazon.com for the club library.
It was a great meeting, plenty of laughter, particularly when the President got up to speak and three police persons all kitted up strode up to the welcome table. What or who did they want? Was it the Quilt Police? Seems they were looking for a little old lady who had gone missing (our meeting is held during the morning). No old ladies in our guild (ages 20-85) we bravely stated. They examined the rollcall book, faced up for a group photograph and left. Made our day LoL.
