need help identifying this quilt pattern

I'm flying high tonight....today I stopped at a thrift store and found this older quilt for $25. It's big, full size,I think, with machine piecing and then hand quilted in a very small 1/2" grid pattern in the lighter sections and echo quilted around the shapes. Does anyone know the pattern name for this? Any ideas about the age of it? Some of the flower petals are seersucker fabric, so I'm thinking 1950's-60's. The back fabric is the same little tiny blue floral on a dark tan/brown fabric. Handstitched binding also. Anyway, I'm so thrilled to find such a bargain. Donna

I KNOW you're not going to trust Barbara but as soon as I have my eyes fixed you can send it to me. What a beauty! I'll search quilt pattern books until I'm absolutely certain the name of the pattern. So happy for you, Polly

"Taria" Excellent beg there. It is a wonderful quilt. What fun to find a treasure.

I don't know the name of the pattern, Donna, but that's one fantastic find! It's really lovely - lucky you!

That's beautiful. I'm sure I've seen that pattern somewhere, but the name escapes me. And Barbara Brackman's book is somewhere in my basement chaos.

So I guess I'm no help.

Oh, this one's easy; it's called Beautiful... aka Pretty. ;-D

Marti Michell calls it a Sunburst:

Whatever you call it, you lucked out; congrats!
