I don't understand. Waaaaaaaaaaaaah! I wanted everybody to see what they could do for fun when they needed a quilting break. All I can see on webshots is a smear. plus that pitiful woman coughing her head off. Tomorrow is another day. Polly

Oh, those are the cutest things ever! Love the caterpillar! I can just see some jammy shorts made out of the Hungry Caterpillar fabric to go with it. Heck, even a quilt too!

Thank you so very much, Jennifer, for letting me share the funny t-shirts. I'm so tickled with how they turned out and profoundly do appreciate your letting me do a Show and Tell. Polly

The caterpillar is appliqué, the stains are paint. There's a wonderful stabilizer now that will let me do what was impossible before. It makes everything stay in place and removes very easily. And yes. Some fuzzy on the bug would have been fun. I had a hard time making me stop on that guy. Polly

"Roberta" I looove the caterpillar! Applique or paint?

Nooo. I didn't know about tye-dying in the mw. What a scathingly brilliant idea! Her birthday is coming soon. I'll send her a plain shirt and some dye. Sounds like something she would really enjoy and I need to get over the sillies and get back to quilting. Maybe. Polly

The pink cat quilt should be finished but it doesn't seem like it is. It needs just a little more. Butterflies? Certainly not mice. I don't think I want to appliqué another mouse for a long time yet. Polly

"Patti" What fun!

Not even two-eared mice? >g<

How about balls of knitting yarn? Then you could introduce a riot of colour - just by machine quilting: or appliqué if you wanted to - with threads coming off the balls .... . In message , Polly Esther writes

I need to mention, in case any of you have a silly attack, that there is no such thing as a plain white t-shirt anywhere for little girls. They are ALL of the HootchieMama variety. You have to go to the uniform section of the boys' department. Polly

Thank you kindly. They're from a file folder of things I wanted to do when I retired. I must have had it in my head that retired folks' days are 40 hours long. It just hasn't worked out that way. Polly

"Carole-Retired and Loving It" Those are SO CUTE!!!!
