New pix at my Webshots

Well I've got a back problem keeping me from sewing so I decided to do something about my online pictures. I've added my rctq BOM applique blocks to my page and made an album for Mom's quilts. The Rose Dream quilt that first brought me to rctq is the second one in Mom's Quilts. I'll have to get more of our stuff up later after taking some more pictures. Debra in VA See my quilts at

I thought at first glance that your tropical fish WH was one of those that took 1,000 years to make. How tickled I was to get up close and see your exquisite use of fabric. That quilt is such a treasure. Atta girl, Debra. Polly

Grandma may not have known a good quilting motif for it, but she sure had an eye for color and beauty. It is a pattern that seems to be fairly rarely made. At least I've not ever seen another quilt like it around here. I am not sure if Grandma fell in love with the pattern or with the pattern name first. She loved roses and grand dreams. It is a shame that the small red gingham shows up in the picture as a faded red, but it really is the same vibrant red and white as the larger pieces. Debra in VA See my quilts at
