Newspaper print fabric

Please does anyone know where I can get either an FQ or half yard/metre cut of a fabric showing newspaper print. My daughter needs some for a project she has in mind and as with all 15 year olds nothing else will do. Ive looked in all the usual places with no luck at all.

Thanks

I think I just saw some in the new Hancocks of Paducah catalog that came last week, have you tried their website?

If she doesn't need a lot, in a pinch she could scan a newspaper and print it on fabric.

I may have the required amount. It was left over from the quilt you can see on this page. Let me know if this is what you are looking for. This fabric is black and white, but I also have some that is a vintage brown, looks like yellowed newspaper. Let me know if I can help with either of these. I feel you pain with the mind of a 15 year old. I am experiencing the same thing with a 33 year old! I guess they don't grow out of it :(

I can never let an online shopping challenge go unsolved.

This has newspapers on it - maybe you can fussy cut what you need?:

Yes, they do, Alice. It takes 42 years and ten months, or at least that's what it took with one of ours. Also takes a lot of prayers and faith. Be still and know. Polly

Well, my DH hears me saying "Dear God, give me strength" a lot these days so I guess that counts as a prayer. She has her good days and when she is in a good mood, all is well with the world. But she is in the throes of renovations, late nights painting, sanding, scrubbing and moving boxes while the baby sleeps, so I guess I can't blame her too much. This too will pass. Thanks for the supporting words, Polly!

I saw some Newspaper cartoon fabric last time I checked Hancocks on line. Most were colored but some were black and white.

geez Snigs, I really expected you to say you had some! LOL My gosh, you have everything else under the sun! My "wish list" is now two pages long and I'm still haggling with DH over which ones I absolutely HAVE to have and which ones I just think I want really bad! He just doesn't understand that with the projects I currently have planned - I really DO NEED those FQ's!

Tina, sure she saw something that looked like newsprint in Snigs lists

Flossy, did you get what you need? I didn't see any response from you.

You may be thinking of the eye chart fabric. "Black and white and read all over"

I went back and looked for it - and yes, you are exactly right! Man, and she knows all that product too! I'm impressed!
